Are there minimum age requirements for The Power of Self Esteem course?
Yes. The minimum age for taking the course is 18.
Are there other limits to attendance?
Yes, This course is not suitable in the 2-day format for someone who has been hospitalised for Mental Health reasons. Please ring me if you would like to discuss your particular situation. In these circumstances, for your wellbeing, we recommend the 5 or 6-week version of this course.
Unfortunately this venue is not wheelchair friendly. Please call me to discuss your specific needs. We will do all we can to be accessible for you.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Good trains to Darlington Station a 5 - 10 minute taxi ride away or half hour walk.
On street free car parking in front of the venue or in surrounding streets
What can I bring to the event?
Its recommended that you wear layers that you can put on or take off through the day to ensure your comfort.
We provide a simple lunch, most likely vegan gluten free soup and bread/rice crackers. If you have any special dietary needs please let us know. You are welcome/invited to bring with you food to add into the mix for a pot luck shared lunch.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you don't need to print off a ticket.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?
Yes, as long as you let me know before the start of the course. Give me a call and we can talk this through.
Is the course residential?
No it is not. Your fee is a tuition only fee. There are local hotels and Bed and Breakfasts within a 20 minute walk. Alternatively there may be spaces in my home or in others' homes nearly. Please contact me separately to discus.
Is there anything else that would be useful for me to know?
Yes, you will receive some audio material on Saturday night and will want a way to play it - MP4 download via DropBox - and some time to do the practice suggested at the end of the session, prior to Day 2.
Hot drinks and water will be provided during the day, as will all materials needed for the course.
Please arrive around 8.40, for a drink prior to the start of the course, so we can all begin promptly at 9am.
