This year we running two filmmaking course with one taking place in Cardiff over three weekends in the autumn and the other in Aberystwyth in November. The course gives students the chance to take part in a week long intensive film course around work or their studies with the opporunity to learn from film industry experts, while working on their own short film, which they will have to plan, direct and edit.
Visual Effects

Our VFX course takes place in Swansea and runs during October half term, providing students with a week long intensive course giving students the opportunity to learn skills in VFX which they will apply to their own projects.

Course details

Anyone can apply to be on this course, there is no charge and we can offer bursaries to cover expenses. We have welcomed some incredible guests to talk to our academies in the past few years, including Kevin Allen (Twin Town), Bait Studios, Milk, Framestore and Keri Collins (Tourist Trap).
