  • CANCELLATION POLICIES

     

    Student Withdrawal 

    • An enrollee may have the option to pre-terminate their enrollment or withdraw from the course.
    • All requests for withdrawal must be made, in writing, to Heny Sison Culinary School. The enrollee cannot officially be withdrawn until their request has been acknowledged, in writing, by Heny Sison Culinary School. 

     

    Withdrawal before the course commencement: 

    • If the student withdraws before the course commencement, a student may receive a full refund of their payment (whether paid in full or through installment).

     

    Withdrawal while the course is ongoing: 

    • If the student withdraws while the course is ongoing, the student will receive a refunded amount with an additional withdrawal fee as follows:

    Lesson 16 to Lesson 22

    Total payments less pro-rata cost (Tuition fee/no.of days) plus P25,000 withdrawal fee.

     

    Cancellation by Heny Sison Culinary School

    • The Heny Sison Culinary School reserves the right to cancel courses for whatever reason before the date a course is due to commence. In these circumstances, students will be given advance notice of the cancellation, and a full refund of the payments made (whether paid in full or through installment) will be given to the enrollee. 
    • If running or continuing a course becomes unviable for the Heny Sison Culinary School, the school will refund in full any of the course fees paid (whether paid in full or through installment). The school cannot be held liable for any remedy, consequential loss, damage, or compensation beyond this. 
    • The Heny Sison Culinary School reserves the right to move the course to a conducive venue if, for whatever reason, access to any of its classroom premises becomes unavailable at any time due to circumstances beyond the school’s control. Where possible, sufficient notice will be given to students. 
    • Any financial losses suffered by a student as a result of the cancellation by the Heny Sison Culinary School shall be borne by the student. The Heny Sison Culinary School accepts no liability for consequential losses. 

     

    COURSE POLICIES

     

    ATTENDANCE

    • All classes start on time with a 15-minute grace period. Students are marked tardy after the grace period.
    • Perennial tardiness will impede eligibility to graduate from the course.
    • A student is only allowed a maximum of 3 absences in order to graduate.
    • Only enrolled students are allowed inside our premises during class hours. No companions are allowed.

     

    MAKE-UP LESSONS

    • Make-up lessons may be taken in the next available schedule of the course. These are subjected to fees as follows: 30% of each lesson cost for the first three missed lessons and a full lesson rate for any additional missed lessons. 

     

    CERTIFICATION

    • A certificate is only given to a student upon full completion of the course.
    • A Certificate of Merit will be given to deserving Essentials students.
    • The certificate is a non-degree certificate, whether academic or vocational.

     

    DRESS CODE

    • Proper attire is very important for safety and sanitary reasons. All students must come to class in long pants, socks, non-slip closed-toe shoes, an undershirt, and the prescribed chef’s jacket and apron uniform provided to all Essentials Program students.
    • Hair must be tied and restrained under the provided cap. 
    • Nails must be clipped and clean, free of nail polish.
    • Each student must provide their own hand towels. 
    • Students are prohibited from wearing jewelry. 
    • Students are required to be masked at all times. Students who refuse to wear a mask will be asked to leave the classroom.

    DIGITAL RECORDING & DECORUM

    • We prohibit students from video recording classes or parts of the classes. Taking photos during classes is allowed as long as they do not interfere with the continuity and decorum inside the classrooms.
    • Talking on the cellphone in the classroom while the course is in session is not allowed. All phones should be turned off or on silent mode.

     

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

     

    • Heny Sison Culinary School is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft incurred to personal property.
    • Heny Sison Culinary School is not responsible for any bodily injuries or damages that a student may sustain as a result of participating in any class, workshop, or program.
    • Heny Sison Culinary School reserves the right to video or photograph the course and its participants. Upon signing this agreement, the student grants all rights to Heny Sison Culinary School to release the photos and videos taken for marketing or communication content in all forms of media.

     

    COVID-19 POLICIES

     

    The Heny Sison Culinary School’s top priority is the health and safety of our students, instructors, faculty, and community.

    In response to the ongoing pandemic and our return to in-person instruction, the school closely monitors and adheres to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) guidance. Henceforth, we are implementing strict protocols for all our class guests, faculty, and staff.

    • Vaccination
      • All course participants are required to be COVID-19 vaccinated and must have at least one booster shot.
      • Proof of vaccination must be presented on Day 1 upon entry.
    • Face Coverings 
      • Face masks shall be worn by all participants within the school at all times unless eating or drinking. 
    • Physical Distancing
      • All course participants are advised to minimize their movements within the school. Students are required to stay within the classroom premises. 
    • Daily Self-Monitoring
      • All course participants should self-monitor their health before coming to school. If a community member has an unexpected or worsening COVID-19-related symptom, they are required to take precautionary measures and remain off campus. 
      • Students experiencing COVID-19-related symptoms are advised to contact the school immediately
    • Antigen Testing
      • Students of this course must undergo self-administered Antigen testing as needed. Test kits will be provided by the school.
    • Positive Cases
      • If any participant in the course tests positive for COVID-19 while the course is ongoing, Heny Sison Culinary School reserves the right to deny their entry on the premises. All participants will be notified by the school. 
      • It is up to the participants if they choose to continue in the course. If participants choose not to continue participation, please contact us to discuss options for re-enrollment.
