You'd be a great fit on the Denver Squid - Aquatics Club!
We do not turn anyone away regardless of athletic ability. Even if you are of out shape, a returning athlete, or new to the sport. We have members who are aged 18-70 and are ex-collegiate athletes to just starting out new. Denver Squid is commited to fostering an awesome community, helping those pursue their goals, and strengthening diversity / inclusion.

    Next steps...

We would recommend you working one on one with a swim instructor first before joining Denver Squid.

You might try reaching out to a member of Squid named Becca Rosenberg (bec.rose918@gmail.com) to see if she might be interested.
(Please note private lessons with other swim instructors are handled outside of Squid, for liability and logistics purposes etc)

If Becca's not available, in the past some of our members have taken lessons at University of Denver (see "Adult Lessons") and the YMCA (see "Adult").
