There are 2 levels of membership within Alberta Bobsleigh Association:

Pilot & Brakeman: An active slider that participates in club sliding either as a recreational or competitive slider. Your membership fees pay for: ABA membership (voting) Insurance while competing/training in ABA sessions and on ABA trips Additional program fees pay for: On-ice coaching in Ice House and on track Ice House training in ABA sessions Administration

Officials, Coaches, Volunteers, & Supporters: An active member who participates in officiating, coaching, or volunteering at ABA training and/or competitions or a supporter of ABA Your membership fees pay for: ABA membership (voting) Insurance while officiating/coaching/volunteering/supportingin ABA events

National Team: An active slider with Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton. Your membership fees pay for: ABA membership (voting) On-ice coaching when in joint ABA/BCS sessions

A supporting associate member who does not participate as a coach, official or active slider, but is interested in furthering and promoting the objectives of the association by maintaining a membership. This member shall be entitled to receive notice and attend meetings of members but shall not be entitled to vote.

Program fees are separate to membership fees. All memberships allow for voting in the Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton Annual General Meeting. All $10 memberships allow for voting in the Alberta Bobsleigh Annual General Meeting.

I the undersigned, release Alberta Bobsleigh Association, its officers, and employees from any claim whatsoever arising from any illness or injury to my person, including death or the loss of any of my property resulting from and arising out of participation in the program. I understand clearly that by signing this release, I will be forever prevented from suing or otherwise claiming against Alberta Bobsleigh Association for any loss or damage connected with any property loss or personal injury that I sustain while participating in or preparing for any bobsleigh program or activity, whether or not such loss or injury is caused solely or partly by the negligence of the Alberta Bobsleigh Association. Thereby give notice of my intention to enter the 2022 - 2023 Alberta Bobsleigh programs and have or know of no medical reason which would restrict or prohibit my participation.
