About YAC
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC), a program of the Keweenaw Community Foundation, gives students in grades 7-12 the chance to make a real difference in Houghton and Keweenaw counties. YAC members work together to identify youth needs, support grant-making, and plan exciting events and initiatives to improve young lives in our community. Plus, there are great volunteer opportunities to get involved and give back.

YAC meets once a month during the school year at Keweenaw Community Foundation. The date and time is determined at the beginning of the school year based on student's availability.
