Requirements to Apply
- Faithful in church/youth group attendance
- Shows leadership, character, and integrity
- Has a personal relationship with Christ
Commitments while Serving as a Youth Council Member
- Attend monthly meetings: Sep. 11, Oct. 2, Nov. 6, Dec. 4, Jan. 8, Feb. 5, Apr. 2, May 7. Each meeting will start at 4pm and last an hour. YOU CAN ONLY MISS ONE MEETING! Illness and family emergency doesn't count towards your one absense.
- Help plan, implement, and evaluate youth activities: e.g. Collision, Sunday School, The Way, mission trip, camp, etc.
- Be faithful in attendance of youth activities (30 average Collision meetings during the school year so you can miss around 6 times; illness and family emergency doesn't count against missing Collision).
- Help plan and participate in Youth Led Collision (Date TBD).
- Help plan and participate in Reverse Advent Service (April 7, 2023).
- Be an example of Jesus Christ.
- Go through youth council book study.
- Read one other book (student's choice) on leadership/spiritual growth. A one page summary will be due Dec. 4, 2022.
