EXHIBIT OVERVIEW:
The Coral Springs Museum of Art invites artists ages 18 and up to submit applications for exhibition. Artwork submitted may be any medium including: photography, video, works on paper, sculptural installations, fine art crafts, textiles, Literary etc. This exhibit will juried and curated by museum staff and professional working artists/curators.
EXHIBITION
On December 9-10, 2022 we will host our second annual Pine and Palm market. We are expanding this event to include a month long exhibition that includes the visual and literary arts. The theme of the exhibition is "Pine and Palm". With the influx of people migratiing to Florida consider the intersection of North and South in your work.
- Visual - any medium; installation on small scale only. Large wall art accepted.
- Literary - Short stories, poems etc. accepted work will be enlarged. Handwritten is encouraged.
- Work must be original and must have been made in the last 18 months.
- No reproductions accepted. All Art forms encouraged however some artforms may not be able to be shown based on things such as size, space etc.
- You may enter up to two pieces per person per submission.
- Literal translations such as landscapes will be considered however we are looking for unique interpretations.
- All work submitted must be accompained by a 100-150 word statement describing your inspiration for your work.
- Selected artist will be required to complete and exhibiton agreement prior to drop off. It will be sent via email to you to complete online only.
JUROR:
- This exhibit will be blind juried by a curator and/or art professional and museum staff. This allows artists' work to evaluated purely on merit rather than resume content, leveling the playing field for all artists.
- Only work selected by the juror will be displayed in the gallery.

- Best in Show willl recieve $200.00
Submission Deadline: October 31, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. ET; Late entries will not be accepted. There is no exception to this deadline.
Artist Notification: No later than November 8, 2022 (by email)
In Person Delivery Only: Tuesday November 29, 2022 10am- 7pm, We cannot accept delivery any other time. (Selected Artists only)
Exhibition Opening Reception: December 15, 2022, 5:30-7:30pm, Award Announcements at 6:30pm.
ELIGIBILITY:
The exhibition is open to artists 18 years old and up.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- The exhibition will consist of visual and literary art work.
- Wall pieces must be wired for hanging large format and installations will be considered.
- Work across a variety of media and display solutions is encouraged.
- Accepted work cannot be substituted and must be available for the duration of the exhibit.
- Work that is older than 18 month old will not be considered.
SUBMISSION:
Submit up to two JPEG/JPG digital images of artwork or handwritten literary work or PDF's of literary work.

DELIVERY OF ARTWORK:
All artwork must be hand-delivered to and picked up from The Coral Springs Museum of Art on the appropriate dates during the scheduled times.
INSURANCE AND SALE OF ARTWORK:
The Coral Springs Museum of Art, City of Coral Springs or any employees or leaderships is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged artwork during this exhibition. Artists are responsible for insuring artwork during transit and during exhibition. The Coral Springs Museum of Art receives a 30% commission on all exhibition sales if work is for sale.
MEDIA/PUBLIC RELATIONS:
The Coral Springs Museum Art reserves the right to use digital images of exhibited artwork for media, website, PR and advertising.
