Caring for Each Other: Bystander Intervention & Safer Partying

This workshop will be conducted by Paola from the SFU Sexual Violence Prevention Office. The session will go over ways to be an active bystander and how to respond to complex situations and incidents related to sexual misconduct. SFU SVSPO works to advocate for a safe and empowered university community through educating and raising awareness about sexual violence and misconduct. Working through an intersectional lens, they also aim to provide survivor-centred trauma informed support. More information about SVSPO can be found here.

The workshop will be conducted in the Student Union Building Ballroom (level 5000) on August 18th, 11:00am - 12:30pm.
