We'd like to mention a few things before you begin.

This application should take you about 45-60 minutes to complete.

There are three sections to this form:

Section A - questions to confirm your eligibility;
Section B - questions about your startup, and a prompt to upload your 3-minute application video (N.B. videos must be no longer than 3 minutes);
Section C - questions about your founding team.

Does your startup meet eligibility requirements for the MAP23 Accelerator?

All applicants must qualify for at least one of these pathways in order to be eligible for the 2023 Program.

1) EITHER at least one co-founder is an alumni, staff member, or current student of the University of Melbourne; OR

2) Your startup has social impact at its core; for example, you may be working in one of these 3 areas:
- People & Place - Improving the lives of under-represented communities through equity, access or inclusion.
- Health & Wellbeing - Innovations that improve health outcomes and the quality of care delivery.
- Sustainability & Resilience - Innovations in energy, transport, urban infrastructure, and water or food security.

Program Commitment & Expectations

A key part of the Melbourne Accelerator Program is learning and sharing in a cohort based environment, surrounded by founders on similar journeys. We consistently see that the teams that get the most out of the program are the ones that are active participants in the space.

As a result, we require and expect the founders to participate full-time in the program. Full-time here refers to being present for all program related activities and using the MAP office as your primary office during the program. In 2023, the Accelerator Program will run from May to September.

We understand that there can be extenuating circumstances, and are willing to consider these on a case-by-case basis.
