Salary Sacrifice will enable you to save National Insurance as well as tax at your highest marginal rate on your contributions, and it will cost you less from your take home pay than if you were automatically enrolled. Pension Contributions
Alumni contribute 4% of your basic salary providing you contribute a minimum of 5%. After completing 4 years of service (including any continuous HN service) Alumni will increase their contributions to 5% automatically. If you contribute via ‘salary sacrifice’ Alumni will contribute 50% of the employer’s NI saving into the pension.
