AAPS Community Ambassadors engage in conversation with other scientists online through their personal social media accounts and the AAPS Communities. Their enthusiasm for science increases the excitement and engagement of other members for AAPS and the pharmaceutical sciences.
Support AAPS members’ use of the AAPS Communities and social media channels by:
- Discussing scientific topics with other scientists in the AAPS Communities and social media.
- Developing a collaborative and engaging space presence online that helps our members.
- Ensuring engagement with members is consistentmembers have other members to talk to online.
- Ensuring information in the AAPS Communitiesabout AAPS and its programs is accurate and consistently available in the AAPS Communities.
Raise awareness of AAPS’ products and services in the AAPS Communities and on social media by:
- Posting and sharing AAPS activities.
- Responding to existing posts.
- Encouraging colleagues other scientists to participate.
Requirements for Applicants for Volunteers
- Be a member at the time of application and throughout service.
- Have a completed profile, including a photo, in the AAPS Communities.
- Have an active email subscription to the AAPS Communities.
- Demonstrate active engagement and familiarity with platforms through posts visible on the AAPS Communities and/or AAPS’ preferred social media platforms:, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Have the ability to write posts and take photos to develop content and share it through the AAPS Communities platform and the social media platforms in which they are active.
- Interest in sharing the latest pharmaceutical science news and and research, as well as information and information about AAPS.
- Commitment to upholding the AAPS Code of Ethics and Professional Code of Conduct.
