For your assurance, I have insurance to work with you. I am a professional Member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.
Please note that payment is expected in advance of all remote sessions.
Our online sessions are the same price as on my website.
If you sign the contract sent to you and you agree to go ahead, you have agreed to my 24 hour cancellation
terms. Payment is still expected if you give less that 24 hours’ notice.

Be ready in advance
As we are using technology, it is not always reliable.
It is best to be on your computer or laptop some time in advance to resolve any of your own technical difficulties and to log in to Zoom.
Types of online therapy provided:
Desanka uses Zoom (not Skype) – due to its encryption and it being a more private service. Zoom can be used with either video, audio only (video conferencing with sound only), or with Zoom LIVE
instant chat. All services are the same price as listed on Desanka's website www.desaholisticwellbeing.com.au
Email support - coaching and counselling
All ongoing email support will be delivered over desanka.ogrizovic.counsellor@outlook.com
I am currently looking for office spaces to run face-to-face counselling and coaching sessions. I will inform you should I have a space, and offer you the chance of meeting face to face as well.
As you are my counselling client, I cannot be expected to resolve your computerised technical problems.
Please ensure you resolve as many technical problems as you can for yourself.
Why we use Zoom:
Skype does not technically adhere to Australian or International Privacy laws as it can be more easily hacked.
Your privacy is very important to me.
I will send you information and your client contract prior to our session together.
Note: I will email you with our unique Zoom code every time, once I receive payment from you.
Please find a private, safe spot – so that we can start on time and so that your own safety, confidentiality
and privacy is protected.
A little about me:
I am trained in counselling, spiritual practice and coaching. I
am not a practising Australian psychologist or social worker. I do not offer rebates from the Australian government currently. I will aim to provide you with the best possible service. As such, I take this role in your life – and you requesting my services – very seriously. If I cannot help you further, I will refer you on to
another service.

Service delivery
Online counselling, coaching or therapy services provided will not be refunded unless it can be shown the advertised services were not delivered as per the information on my website or as agreed in private
consultation between us.
If you, the client (customer or purchaser) changes your mind or decides that the services are not what you want, after they have been delivered, then this matter needs to be discussed directly with Desanka to see if
a resolution can be found and agreed to by both parties. Desanka provides no promise to provide remedy, though will make every reasonable effort to find an agreeable solution.
Bookings must be paid for in advance for a full refund to be offered, though this is if cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the service is due to be delivered. Cancellation fees will apply if notice is not given.
Bookings paid for and not attended without prior notice will forfeit the entire fee, or otherwise another session can be rescheduled.
Jurisdiction
This agreement is enacted and can only be enforced under the relevant laws governing Victoria
(VIC), Australia.
Insurance coverage
Desanka Ogrizovic, is registered and insured to work in Australia only.
Client files:
Desanka keeps all of your private information and documentation in a hard copy format in a locked filing
cabinet, in accordance and keeping with the ethical requirements of PACFA.
Accessing your counselling file:
At any stage you can access your counselling file, or clinical notes. If there are court proceedings, your file can be subpoenaed by another party, as per all other standard counselling services. Counselling files can also
be accessed under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) by you – related to the Australian Federal Government legislation.
All contractual information sent to you is required to be signed and filled in prior to starting our work together.
The client contract is required to be signed by you, for me to work with you. Within the contract, there is important information regarding mandatory reporting and counselling professional responsibilities.
Please adhere to the contract as your guidelines for our work together.
I will not record any counselling sessions, or any online or Zoom sessions with you to protect your privacy and confidentiality. I expect that you WILL NOT record the session. Permissions must be sought by either Desanka or the client in order to record all, or any part, of the session – and a signed permission form must be
completed to record a session.
Complaints Policy
As per the requirements of my professional association, PACFA, Desanka Ogrizovic, trading as, DESA- Holistic Wellbeing For Women, assumes the subsequent complaints policy. Desanka Ogrizovic at all
times aims to deliver a high-quality service and uphold the highest standards of ethics and professionalism, within the agreed terms of your client contract. If, however, for any reason you are unhappy with the quality of service you have received or the way you have been treated, you may complain.
The Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) sets out ways that clients can complain to them about registered health care, allied health and unregistered practitioners.
As counselling and psychotherapy is not
registered under AHPRA, Counselling and Psychotherapy is considered an unregistered and unregulated
industry.

Service complaints:
Service complaints may fall either in service delivery; counselling services, or administrative complaints. If you
have any complaints or issues, please contact Desanka directly in writing and she will endeavour to resolve your complaints quickly and within an appropriate timeframe.
If further therapy or a referral does not resolve the complaint, you may wish to discuss the matter with the HCCC, or you can lodge a formal complaint with PACFA.
Please note that for reasons of your confidentiality, a complaint may only relate to services provided to you (and not to any other person). Desanka will not discuss, nor release any records or materials related to a complaint or counselling services provided to any other person, unless ordered to do so by a competent court
or relevant authority.

Special note: Online therapy and coaching provided by Desanka Ogrizovic is not a crisis service. If your request
is urgent, or a crisis, or you have a very serious request, where you may be a danger to yourself or others, please consider contacting a crisis line, or crisis online service. Here is a list of international crisis support
