Online Red Cross Babysitting Course
Wednesday September 7th and Thursday September 8th

5:00pm - 7:30pm CST
4:00pm - 6:30pm MST
Course Timeline
5 Hours of Online Instructor Lead Learning + 2-3 hours of at Home Learning which can be done individually or as a family.
Notes

Babysitters Manual will be mailed prior to the begining of the course.

Your instructor will contact you before your first session with information on accessing your online training.

An adult must be present during the training however they do not need to appear in the video feed. Participants must be present for all course sessions in order to succesfully recieve their certificate.

*Participants should have their own email affiliated with their account if possible.
Email addresses can not be shared between Red Cross participants.
(For examlpe: If a parent / guardian already has a Red Cross acount for a First Aid Certificate, that same email address will not work for the child's account to obtain their Babysitter Course Certificate.)
Training Materials
We understand that sourcing some training supplies during these unprecedented times can be difficult. Some aspects of the training will need to be modified to accomodate social distancing practices.
We recommend the following items for the course:

1 Pair of medical gloves*

1 diaper*

1 kleenex / baby wipe*

1 triangular bandage*
-
1 square gauze*
-
1 bandaid*
-
1 doll or stuffed animal
-
1 of each of the following: Bottle, Cup, Bowl, Spoon
*Items can be mailed to you.
We are suggesting 3 options for this training:

We can mail you a small training kit with required contents for a small fee. (Please register far enough in advance for package to arrive via Canada post timelines)

You can source your own trianing products.

You can improvise your training kit with products currently available in your own house.
