"The Happiest Place on the North Shore Every Tuesday"

  • *Our goal is to lift up our farmers, small businesses, and entrepreneurs, provide a place for our community to gather, to shop local, and celebrate that we are better together.

*Our shared vision between our musicians and vendor family and Waialua UCC is that we only rise TOGETHER.

*Vendors Include: farmers, food, resale products, resale food, artisan and handmade products, arts & crafts and assorted local businesses. This is not a yard sale or swap meet. Please offer products accordingly.

    1.
      1. Our market is planned for small local businesses to thrive as a business or entrepreneur! We currently don’t charge a musician fee, and hope you will consider a donation, as you are able to do so, at each market.
      2. Our market is planned for those businesses that are prepared to be committed to every week, with exceptions of vacations, illness, and emergencies. If you are looking for a market as a one-time pop-up for yourself or a “once in a while” commitment, we kindly ask you to choose another venue.
    2. Musician set-up begins at 1:00pm (September – May) and 2:00pm (June – August). Please have your set-up complete by 2:45pm (September – May) and 3:45pm (June – August). There is no movement of vehicles during the time of the market 3:00pm – 7:00pm (September – May) and 4:00pm – 8:00pm (June – August). NO EXCEPTIONS as it puts adults and our children at risk.
    3.
      1. We request musicians not wear/sell/speak profanity or sell/drink alcohol during the market or sell/use any other kinds of substances with the possibility of a mood altering consequence, whether legal or illegal, during the market. These will not be tolerated.
      2. No abusive language, language that involves swear/inappropriate words or phrases, or abusive and violent actions during the market and while you are on the Waialua UCC campus will be tolerated. If there is a dispute of any kind between you and a visitor to the market, ask a Waialua UCC representative for assistance.
      3. No domestic disputes or any other kind of disputes within your booth or with another vendor will be tolerated.
    4. Musicians will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Waialua United Church of Christ, and any of its representatives, from any and all liability arising from bodily injury or property damage, incurred in connection with the Tuesday Market Waialua hosted by Waialua UCC.
    5. Booths are considered 12 X 12 or accommodate the size of one pop-up tent with a little extra room. Some booths accommodate parking ONE vehicle beside or behind your vendor space; other booth spaces will necessitate you unloading your booth and parking your vehicle elsewhere (beside the road in front of the church and two parking lots close to the church.) Waialua UCC will direct you in where/how to park your vehicle.
    6. For your best interest, and others, we require you to have weights for your tent, at all corners, in case of wind.
    7. Upon your arrival, you’ll receive your Musician space, and our plan is for you to go to the same space each time. However, Musician spaces are assigned at the discretion of Waialua UCC and may be changed as necessary. We want you to succeed and will always appreciate your input!
    8. Please let us know if you are going to be on vacation, away, or have an emergency. Please let the market team know ASAP if you are not going to be able to be present at a market. Vendors who do not show up for their space at a market, without prior notice, will automatically be moved to our wait list and off our active list.
    9. Please place your vehicle beside or behind your booth, or parked off-site, as it is specifically requested of you/your booth location by Waialua UCC.
    10. Please be kind to shoppers and other vendors. We are better together, we only RISE together, and we want everyone to succeed! Your booth can be withdrawn from you, and you can be asked to leave, at Waialua UCC’s SOLE DISCRETION FOR ANY REASON Waialua UCC Tuesday Market Waialua Team and/or Waialua Church Council deems appropriate.
    11. Please take all your trash with you when you leave.  We ask that you treat our campus as if it is your own yard. Do not leave discarded trash of any kind. Do not place trash in our restrooms or in any receptacles on the campus.
    12. Please DO NOT pick fruit from our fruit trees. You will be asked to leave and not invited to return.
    13. Restrooms are close to where your booth will be located. You may use them, but please DO NOT venture beyond them. You will be asked to leave and not invited to return. (This is for the safety of other events happening on our campus.)
    14. ONLY service animal pets are permitted. Please be ready to show documentation. They must be on leash at all times. If they make a mess, please clean it up.
    15. Any playing of music or voice amplification will be done solely by Waialua UCC and at an acceptable level determined by Waialua UCC.
    16. The following are prohibited: smoking, alcohol, petitions of any nature, profanity, abusive language or actions, fighting, auctioneering, biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, scooters, mood altering substances whether legal or illegal, and any and all items/clothing of political expression, fortune telling, and tarot cards.
    17. The following may not be sold: pornographic material, ammunition, any living thing besides plants, automobiles, motorcycles, blowguns, cigarettes, components for firearms, daggers, discount coupons, explosives, firearms of any kind, flammables, games of chance, gift certificates, grab bags, hash pipes, knives, prescription medicine, roach clips, swords, trucks, drug paraphernalia, illegal contraband, and items of political expression.
    18. Waialua UCC reserves the right at any time to restrict or prohibit certain additional items from being sold or distributed at Waialua UCC’s discretion.
    19. Waialua UCC reserves the right to reconfigure the set-up/spaces as needed with growth.
    20. Waialua UCC, or any of its representatives, is not liable for theft or damage of any merchandise before, during, or after the Tuesday Market Waialua hours.
    21. Musicians must allow unimpeded inspection by Waialua UCC at all times.
    22. Waialua United Church of Christ reserves the right to terminate the Tuesday Market Waialua agreement with any musician, for any reason, and at any time, deemed appropriate by the Waialua United Church of Christ Market Team and/or Waialua United Church of Christ Church Council.
    23. Waialua United Church of Christ reserves the right to require a musician to leave during a market for any reason, and at any time, deemed appropriate by the Waialua United Church of Christ Market Team and/or Church Council. In this circumstance, the musicians would be required to leave their vehicle in place until 8:00pm, at the market’s completion, at which time the musician would be able to retrieve their vehicle and belongings.
    24.
      1. Upon violation of any part of this agreement, or any other behavior Waialua UCC deems inappropriate, Waialua United Church of Christ reserves the right to require a musician to leave a market and/or terminate the Tuesday Market Waialua Agreement with said musician.
      2. Waialua United Church of Christ may not provide or guarantee any warnings prior to requiring a musician to leave a market or terminating the Waialua United Church of Christ Tuesday Market Waialua Agreement with a musician.
    25. Our Market is a rain or shine market; however, if the weather forecast predicts an abnormal system of rain, hurricane, or it’s just simply pouring without stopping, we’ll send an email to everyone ASAP to let you know if the market is cancelled for a Tuesday due to weather. We will try to do that by Sunday night if it’s a system forecast, and as early as possible prior to, or on a Tuesday, if it’s pouring with rain.
