Practice Billing Policy & Patient Information
Our practice is contracted to a limited number of medical schemes and we follow a 300% billing practice. This may result in a shortfall, depending on your medical scheme’s cover.
Gap Cover: If you have gap cover, this may assist in settling the shortfall.
Prescribed Minimum Benefit (PMB) Conditions: In selected cases, your procedure may qualify as a PMB condition, which could reduce or eliminate out-of-pocket costs.
For your convenience, you may request a written quotation of estimated costs for any upcoming procedure. This will allow you to confirm benefits with your medical scheme and assess whether gap cover applies.
Should you wish to obtain a quotation, please contact my rooms and our staff will gladly prepare this for you.
