The Winter Session begins January 4 and ends on April 26, 2025. 

Work days are Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, with some opportunities for extra hours.

The Fruitful Field Grow City Youth is an after-school program that has been operating since 2015. We provide first-time job skills training to youth in the communities we serve.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Community Foundation of Broward, we will offer this opportunity at THE FRUITFUL FIELD 100 NE 44th Street, Deerfield Beach, FL 33064. The Fruitful Field is an urban Market Garden located within easy access to I-95. We started as a small community-driven garden in 2009 and expect to grow more than 15,000 pounds of fresh, nutrient-dense produce in the coming season. 

You’ll also learn all about good nutrition, financial skills, and how to cook some insane vegetable food dishes.
