The Idaho Council on Domestic Violence and Victim Assistance (ICDVVA) has been awarded supplemental Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) funding from the American Rescue Plan. There are two funds available:
1) Support for COVID-19 testing, vaccines, and mobile health units (COVID TVMH). Your request must fall within the guidance/allowable expenses for this award available on our website. You must explain the connection between your request and COVID-19.
2) Rape crisis centers and sexual assault (SA) programs to continue adapting to meet the emergency needs of sexual assault survivors. This supplemental funding may also be used to expand existing virtual, remote, and emergency services for survivors. This supplemental funding will support all costs associated with rape crisis centers and sexual assault programs systematically designing, implementing, and assessing ways to optimize virtual services for survivors of sexual assault that that have been impacted by the COVID-19 public health emergency.
