Applications open July 1st & will close on July 31st. All applicants will receive an email regarding the status of their application & whether they have been accepted or not as we have very limited space for this market. All emails will be sent by August 12th, 2023.
Thank you for your interest in our 2nd annual Merry Market in Madawaska Valley! After a small hiatus this spring & summer due to a family tragedy, Addie & Lindsay are excited to be back & hosting our much loved markets just in time for the holiday season. As always, we want to encourage our community to shop small & shop local this holiday season by bringing over 25 amazing vendors from the Ottawa Valley to one, conveinent location.

Encouragingly, we already have a lot of interest and excitement from members of our community as well as our local vendors!

Event Details -

Date: Saturday, November 25th, 2023

Time: 11am - 3pm

Location: Paul J Yakabuski Community Centre, Barry's Bay, ON

Table Fee: $60.00

The deadline for the table fee will be August 31st, 2023 . This can be paid via e-transfer to the email provided in the acceptance email. Once paid, your table fee is non-refundable.

If we have not heard back confirmation of participcation or the table fee has not been recieved by the deadline, your spot will be given to the next applicant on our waitlist.

Is Wifi Available?

Yes! Wifi is available at the arena for businesses using square card readers. The password will be given out in the acceptance email & there will be a sign at the market.

Is a Table Included? If So, What Size Is It?

Yes! The table fee for this market is $60 which includes an 8 foot table, as well as advertisement leading up to the event. Please note that table cloths are NOT provided.

Our event will be held at the Barry's Bay arena, in the upstairs lounge. Because we have such limited space, with only so many tables available, we ask our vendors to fill out the application below in order to best determine which businesses will be the best fit for our market. We do this to help limit duplicate vendor categories & ensure that our shoppers and attendees have the best selection to shop from - but also that our vendors are also successful.

Our raffle table is always a huge success! Will you be donating an item for our raffle?*

Our "swag bags" for the first few attendees have also been very popular & help encourage shoppers to come early. Would you be interested in donating towards them? This can include small products (ex. stickers, sample products...), coupon codes to encourage attendees to shop your table & even business cards.*

Accomadating Vendors (Tables & Electricity)

We will do our best to accommodate your needs. As mentioned above, each vendor will be provided with an 8 foot table, unless specified otherwise. Table cloths will NOT be provided. Please answer the questions below regarding the set up of your table. We cannot gaurentee an electrical outlet or a table against a wall but if you specify below we will do our best to accommodate!
