Apply to be a Small Business Specialist

Bergen Community College students of all majors are encouraged to apply, No matter your area of study, business experience is important in any career.
Our goal is to help small business owners grow their businesses by supporting them on projects such as social media posts, designing flyers or logos, taking photos of their products, creating customer testimonial videos, finding new suppliers or building a simple website. Students get first-hand experience and put their business skills to work while small businesses get much-needed help. The service is free for small businesses and students are paid by a grant provided by the Bergen County Office of Economic Development. The starting hourly rate is $15 per hour. Training is provided. The job is hybrid and blends in-office and remote work.
