What cage do you have or are planning to buy for your new mouse/mice? Please remember that bigger is not always better in regards to mice, and a large cage will require the proper number of mice. (i.e. a 40gal tank should have between 7-13 mice/10gal tank 1-4 mice/20gal long tank 3-6 mice). We do not adopt to those using Critter Trails or Tiny Tails cages, these are inappropriate cages for any small animal. Please send a photo of your enclosure fully set up to our email or via social media Nita Tohbi or Nitas Mice on Facebook. Nitasmousery on instagram

What food will you be feeding your new mice? Seed mixes should only be used as treats, lab blocks are recommended because they have everything the mice need nutritionally and help keep their teeth filed down. Examples are Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat, Mazuri 6F/Rat & Mouse, Kruse Perfection Rat & Mouse, or Science Select Rat & Mouse. Please specify which lab block you'll be feeding:

What type of bedding will you be using? Paper bedding should be avoided for a primary bedding as it does not absorb the ammonia from their urine. Recommended beddings are kiln dried pine, aspen, hemp and non-clumping wood cat litter.
