Alumni Hall of Fame Nomination Form

The Southern Illinois University School of Law honors its Hall of Fame classes every fall during Orientation or Homecoming. The Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding alumni of the law school who have, through their professional achievements and/or service to the school, brought honor to the School of Law.
A nominee must:

• be a graduate of the Southern Illinois University School of Law;

• have graduated no less than ten years before the date of nomination; and

• not be currently employed as full-time faculty or staff by the SIU School of Law.

Deceased alumni are eligible for nomination. Nominations can be resubmitted. An alum can be nominated (but not inducted) more than once. Nominees do not need to be engaged in the practice of law.

Nominations will be accepted each year between Homecoming and December 31st. A committee of School of Law alumni and faculty will review the nominations and select the year’s inductees. The committee will induct up to three alumni each year. The committee can review past nominations in its discretion.
