    Skill Practice

    Services by a trainee practicing learned techniques under supervision.
    Availability: Limited times
    Cost: Medium rate

    Full Experience Practice

    Work with a trainee refining timing and client experience, with educator oversight.
    Availability: More options than other types
    Cost: Higher rate


    Stylist Practice & Content

    Services by experienced stylists practicing new techniques or creating content.
    Availability: Limited times
    Cost: Low-medium rate


    Last-Minute & Specialty Services

    Experienced stylists filling last-minute slots or creating specialty content.

  • I agree to participate as a hair model for education purposes at Maven Hair Company. I understand that the services being performed may include but are not limited to cutting, coloring, bleaching, and other chemical services.*
  • I will provide the stylist/instructor with the most accurate information possible regarding any color (including permanent, semi-permanent and temporary), texturizing or other chemical treatments received in the past 12 months. Failure to do so could dramatically impact my end result and compromise the integrity of my hair.*
  • I will wear neutral clothing, (black, white, grey, beige, no graphics) and understand that modern accessories are encouraged such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. I will also arrive photo ready with makeup done. (makeup does not need to be extreme but should be suitable for photos: face clean and fresh or what makeup you are comfortable with)*
  • I give Maven Hair Company permission to access any photographs or videos taken during this session. These photographs and videos may be used for, but are not limited to promotions, social media, salon portfolios, mailings & website/email marketing.*
  • I understand that there mayb a model service deposit: $25-$100 (depending on desired outcome & specific model needs for color.) This covers the products required, educator's time, and is used to secure your space with our team members in training. You will forfeit this deposit for Cancelations within 72 hours or No-Showing your reserved model time.*
  • I understand that Maven will contact me for payment of any model service deposits prior to my scheduled appointment and will be charged to my debit/credit card collected by phone.*
