UNITE: Girl Scout National Convention

Spark new friendships, celebrate epic achievements, and explore with your Girl Scout besties from around the country.

The GSGATL team is considering organizing logistics for a trip up to Girl Scout National Convention! In order to make the trip affordable, we would need at least 40 Girl Scouts to attend trip, chaperoned by our Girl Experience Program staff & some volunteer adults. We can also accommodate volunteers who are able to attend with a group of older Girl Scouts.

Please share your intention below, based on the following details:

All travelers:
- Girl Scouts must be Girl Scout Seniors or Ambassadors (rising 9th - college) between 14 - 18 years old by the date of departure (7/22/2026)
- Girl Scouts and adults must be current active members and have renewed membership by 5/31/26.
Girl Scouts traveling without Adults, Requirements to attend:
- Girl Scouts will be supervised by our Girl Experience Team with space for a few additional adults to support as chaperones.
- Girl Scouts will share a room with other Girl Scouts who are attending.
Girl Scouts traveling with Adults, Requirements to attend:
- Girl Scout group size must include the appropriate ratio of adults attending or be a parent/daughter pair.

We are considering travel via Coach bus with the following *tentative* schedule:

This is just an interest form so that we can make a plan if we gather the appropriate numbers. There is not currently a committment to attend after completing this form.

We have outlined information and costs below for your estimate. This interest is JUST to cover travel costs getting to/from the conference and booking through a room block. Once we confirm interest, we will be able to share more details about the final cost breakdown. We will make this decision in January 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Where can I find more information? GSUSA is updating the Convention webpage as new details are shared! Keep an eye on the 2026 Girl Scout Convention webpage!
2. The website says registration is open now, should I go ahead and register separately? Yes, if you are SURE that you plan to attend, you can purchase a ticket. But, if we don't gain enough interest, you will need to arrange your own transportation. We will confirm transportation options in January.
3. What if we want to register as a family, volunteer, etc? You are welcome to register separately for experience and to attend on your own!
4. Will my Girl Scout be required to share a bed? We are exploring options for girls who are comfortable to save some money through shared sleeping arrangements at the resort hotels. As we identify the number of girls who are interested, we can provide additional information on what this may look like.
5. What methods of payment are accepted? In addition to traditional payment methods (Cash, Credit Card, Check) and Cookie Dough.
6. This program is expensive! How are Girl Scouts expected to cover these costs? The program costs include a 3-day conference, transportation, food, hotel, and sightseeing. The costs may seem high, but they are realistic based on current market conditions. Our Council is hoping to trim the costs to make the program more affordable to you in as many ways as possible. Having an idea of the number of interested girls will help us to navigate this better.
7. Why are you only taking Girl Scout Seniors & Ambassadors? Girl Scout Convention is a great opportunity for girls who have truly grown-up in the program to learn about how the organzation poperates on a National Scale! Having our "oldest" Girl Scouts allows us to provide a unique experience and helps us to organize chaperones in a more meaningful way.
