• Local Projects Grant Application

  • Overview

Rotary Club of Maple Valley awards grant funding to non-profit organizations and local projects serving people living in the greater Maple Valley/Black Diamond area. These awards are for specific items and/or programs that are needed to carry out the mission of the organization or project and include sponsorship/matching asks. Awards are typically for amounts ranging from $250-$5,000. Requests for volunteer help from Maple Valley Rotary members are also welcome.
  • Eligibility Requirements

    (1) The project must provide a sustainable benefit to the target community that lasts after the initial financial support has been delivered and the project has concluded, (2) The application must be community based, volunteer driven, a charitable group, or not for profit organization, (3) The project meets the Four Way Test, (4) A follow up report to Rotary is required at the end of the project, and (5) Approved applicants will be asked to recognize the Rotary Club of Maple Valley's support for the project, both to its membership and the public. Note: if the purpose of the funding request is specific, and doesn’t go into the requesting entity’s general fund, then they are eligible for consideration. We do not fund Tahoma High School senior projects that are required by the school for graduation. We do not give to individuals, but we partner with individuals whose project would benefit more than the individual.
