The Oli Leigh Trust was established after trustee Michelle lost her son Oli at 16 to suicide.
In remembering Oli, and by supporting mental health training programmes, the trust is able to celebrate and remember Oli's life by helping other teenagers to see through the fog.
In this challenge students will consider what it means to be emotionally healthy, before exploring practical strategies to support their peers who may be struggling with their mental health.
Students will go on to develop an idea for a new resource or service that would operate within their school or local community to support young people who are feeling anxious or suffering with their mental health.
The Oli Leigh Trust - Mental Health Awareness Challenge can be accessed FREE via the Launch Your Career platform. To gain access to the challenge, we would like to demonstrate the platform to you via a video call. Please select a time and date which works best for you, and we will then send you a meeting link.
