A completed application package includes the following items:
1. This application form completed and signed.
2. A personal essay that explains both why you need the award and why you deserve it. The selection committee will give preference to essays that address the following:
  1. A detailed description of your financial situation and why you are facing financial difficulties. You are encouraged to be as specific as possible.
  2. An explanation of how this award would affect you.
  3. A description of any and all contributions you have made to the WIU campus and/or Macomb community.
3. An unofficial copy of your academic transcript, in order to verify your GPA. This is available on STARS.
4. A prior year’s education related expenditure report.
