By submitting this form the participant agrees to enter the Edmonds Music Teacher Association Time Era Festival. The Time Era Festival was created to help students appreciate the differences between the Baroque (1600-1750), Classical, (1750-1820), The Romantic (1820-1900) and the Modern (1901 to Present)
For 2022, the time era will be the Modern Era (1901 to present). One or two pieces are allowed, but the total performance time cannot exceed 10 minutes. Students can only use pieces learned AFTER April 1, 2022. For medal eligibility, all piece(s) must be recorded or played live from memory.
This year's festival will have two different performance options.
* YouTube Virtual Format: Students will submit their YouTube links by October 30, 2022 on a different jotform link and receive written comments from the virtual format adjudicator. If more than one piece is performed, both works must be on ONE YouTube link. Video footage must show face and both hands at all times.
* In-person Format: Students will perform live and receive feedback in-person. The in-person festival date is Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 1:00PM - 8:00PM at the Hartley Mansion, in Everett, WA.
