  • YMCA Art in the Hallway

    The Northside Community Centre YMCA invites all artists in central Alberta to submit their work to our community gallery, Art in the Hallway.

  • About the Gallery

    YMCA Art in the Hallway is an informal gallery at the Northside Community Centre YMCA (6391 76 St., Red Deer). There is approximately 80 feet of wall space for framed artwork. All works must be able to be mounted in 22" x 28" glass exhibition frames and be suitable for viewing by visitors of all ages.

  • Submission Guidelines

    Calling all emerging and experienced artists: submit your work to the exhibition, "We Belong," open to the community from November 1 – December 13, 2024.

    • Artists may apply for a solo exhibit, or, a group of artists may submit a joint exhibit proposal.
    • All artwork must measure a maximum of 22" x 28" and be suitable for mounting in exhibit frames. Works on paper are best suited for these frames.
    • Artwork can be listed for sale. Anyone interested in purchasing a piece will be given the contact info you provide. No commission from the sale of the piece is required by the YMCA.

    The deadline for submissions (on next page) is October 18, 2024.

    If selected for exhibition, your work must be dropped off at the Northside Community Centre YMCA by October 25.
