ABOUT PACCAL
PACCAL or Pan American Concerned Citizens Action League, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was initially formed to help the veterans, the youths, and new parents in Downtown Jersey City during the influx of Filipino immigrants in the 90s.
PACCAL, today, continues to provide needs-based programs with a focus on Asian Seniors in our local communities in Jersey City, Bayonne, and will be extending this in Queens.
During the pandemic, PACCAL raised and provided PPEs to front-liners, masks to seniors and individuals requesting from NJ-NY. PACCAL delivered food and groceries during the lockdown and on holidays. Every week, amidst the pandemic challlenges, PACCAL continued providing health education classes and light exercises for the seniors via Zoom and at the Harborview Senior Center.
Concurrently, aside from it PACCAL celebrates the excellence and achievements of men and women through its programs Women's History Month (in March) and the PACCAL Awards (in October).
