What type or genre of music do you envision for the harp? (Classical? Popular Mix?Love songs? Current Top 40 from the last decade? Meditational Yoga Music?) What mood do you want to create overall, including the music?
For all bookings, with a guest size above 40-50, I recommend and provide my BOSE sound system that is powerful but battery operated. Otherwise, I can plug into house sound or a DJ's sound system.
Are you interested in booking my FLUTE & HARP DUO, The Syrinx Duo? If so, I will check for availability and get back to you with more details plus rates.
Would you like to know more about me playing the harp accompanied by popular BACKING TRACKS ? The playlist is 1 hour, all pop music from the 60's to current day, with bass and light percussion to sound like a 3 piece band. It's perfect for a cocktail hour.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION

This is a fill in the blank format based on our rate agreement. A 50% retainer holds the date/time for you with the signed contract. If within a month of the event, please prepare to pay in full. The retainer is refundable up to 90 days prior to the event date. A Late Fee of $25 is due if not paid on time. You can pay via a secure credit card portal (I will send you the link for a Stripe payment) or we can handle finances on another secure platform like Zelle using susanhaasharp@gmail.com, Venmo @Susan-Haas-6 (use -3267 as my last 4 digits), and EFT bank transfer or even an old fashioned check in the mail if that's what your accounting department requires.
We are booking Susan Haas for hours of harp music on her concert harp on   Date   (date) from   Time   start time to   Time end time at   Type a label   (location). Overtime, required either before or after the performance, beyond the contracted amount of arrival 1 hour prior to the start of the performance will be $100 per hour, pro-rated by the half hour at $50/30 minutes. The Total amount contracted is    For a booking more than 1 month in advance, a 50% deposit of  $    holds the date/time for us along with our SIGNATURE below showing that we agree on all terms.
The balance of $  is due two weeks prior to the event. Otherwise, payment in full of $   Type a label (Total Contracted Amount) is required to confirm the booking.

Note: If booking the Syrinx Duo, flute and harp, there is a separate contract for the flutist.

FURTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS

In order for us to provide you with an optimal performance, please note the following:

**Overtime includes required idle time on site due to set up, early sound checks or programming prior to my performance, anything greater than 1 hour prior to my performance start, at $100 hour. This also includes $100/hour idle time afterwards if I am not able to leave the site when my performance is complete due to the programming or obstruction to the exit. 30 min can be pro-rated at $50/half hour. Please discuss this with me if you need clarification.

**The harp must be placed on a stable, secure, flat surface. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that such a place exists in your chosen venue. If there is a sprinkler system, the client must ensure that the venue does not water immediately before set up time for the harp. The harpist may choose to provide a 4’x5’ surface to provide for these conditions if there is any question as to suitable dryness or security for the base of the harp.

**The harp cannot be placed in direct sunlight on a day above 85 degrees -we can provide a 10’ x10’ white canopy if this exposed condition exists, provided the canopy can installed securely and no windy conditions exist. Likewise, the harp and harpist cannot play in temperatures below 55 degrees.

**The harp cannot be exposed to rain, mist or extreme weather conditions such as high winds- for rain or mist, the canopy mentioned above will be used , except in the case of high winds in which case playing may be impossible.

**If an additional musician of the client’s choosing is added to the event with the expectation that the artists will coordinate entertainment, the contract will be voided and the rate will be reassessed.

**If under any circumstances the musician is unable to fulfill their contractual obligation, the fees already paid shall be refunded or the musicians will do all that is reasonably possible to find you a qualified, professional substitute and transfer the initial funds to them directly.

**If the event is postponed beyond 60 days, a new contract will be required.
