If you answered yes, great!  You can see the spiritual reality around you. You see it in creation whether it is by looking up into the heavens, or in the detailed beauty of flowers and plants, or in the face of a newborn baby.  Whatever your moment was, you have moved at least to first base on your spiritual journey. 

If you answered no to this question, it may be because you have not "tuned in" your spiritual nature to what is around you. If you desire to experience the spiritual part of who you are, take time to look deeply into creation all around you. Open yourself to the God and Spirit of creation to enlighten you to his reality. That being said, you still can move along your spiritual journey by contemplating the teachings of Jesus.

If you answered yes to this question you are at second base on your spiritual journey.  You believe in the Gospel, the Good News message of Jesus. That's awesome!  Maybe you have never heard the Good News message of the love of God, and how he offers everyone eternal life by believing in his one and only son Jesus Christ.  It is through believing in Jesus that we can have this is amazing, eternal spiritual life experience.  

It's one thing to understand the message of the Good News, but it's another thing to spiritually move into relationship with God by believeing and receiving Jesus as the Lord you will love and follow the rest of your life. 

Let's see if you are at third base on your spiritual journey...

If you answered yes to this question then great, you have made it to third base on your spiritual journey!  You have experienced the greatest love possible, and are now on your way to home plate. Your life at this moment is one of following Jesus and helping others find an amazing love relationship with God the Father. You have turned away from ungodly living and are now seeking to please God by loving him, and loving and helping others. You are on your way!

Maybe you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord. Maybe this is the first time you have heard this amazing message.  God wants to give you a new spiritually alive life. He wants to wipe away all the evil you have ever done in the past, and give you a clean slate going forward with a new life of love with him through his son Jesus.  This is the amazing good news and spiritual offer everyone in the world needs! But, it does require that we humble ourselves and give our lives to Jesus as our Lord to experience a spritual rebirth. Jesus said in the Gospel of John chapter 3 verse 3 that in order to enter the Kingdom of God, a person must be born-again.  We all need to have that amazing spiritual rebirth. It's something we all deeply long for inside but just can't put our finger on it.  

If this is resonating within your soul, the Spirit of God is next to you now. This is what you do next. Pray this prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I am a sinner and I ask you to be the Lord of my life. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, and that God the Father has raised you from the dead. I receive you now Lord Jesus into my heart as my savior. I turn away from the ungodly living of the past and will follow you the rest of my life. Amen"

If you prayed this prayer and meant it with all your heart, you are now born-again just as Jesus described in John 3:3. You are a child of God and there is no distance between you and God the creator of the universe! You have believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and you have been given the gift of eternal life as described in John 3:16.  Jesus rose from the dead and is preparing a place for you right now in heaven. He is coming back again to receive all of his children to himself.
