SGB membership 2024/2025 is included in the class fees. Renewal of membership fees are due at the beginning of July each year.

PPC (Personal Protective Clothing)

Full PPC is available for all students if required. A beekeeping suit or jacket with built-in veil is required for the field day. Feet and ankles must be covered, gumboots are best.

NB: Bees do not remain friendly if dark colours and fluffy textures are worn by visitors to their hives.

Please bring gloves and appropriate footwear with you. Thick washing-up gloves are fine - but NOT black. Gardening gloves with neoprene fabric are NOT suitable.

The cost of PPC hire, from the SGB is $30pp and will be added to the class fees.
