Sign-up events are events hosted and run by Girl Scout volunteers with the purpose of forming new troops, registering new youth and adult members, and/or giving families a chance to try out Girl Scouts. (Example: Troop Formation night, Community/Area-hosted bring-a-friend event)
Tabling events are any events hosted by another organization at which volunteers/troops hold a table or activity station to share more information about Girl Scouts. (Example: citywide festival, school open house, resource fair, school carnival)
Parades include any event where Girl Scout information is distributed to families without opportunity for conversation.
