Data Dictionary
Describing your variables help other data users easily understand and reuse your data. Add the following variable descriptors for each variable in your data file.

Common name: A more common or familiar name for the variable (if available)
For example, if 'TdegC' is a variable in your raw data file that represents 'Temperature', then 'Temperature' should be the common name.
Description: Describe or define the variable in the context of how it was used or collected in this dataset.
Statistics Applied: Enter any statistics performed on the variable. See table 1 below for different statistics and their definitions.
Result Value Type: Actual or calculated. Actual values come directly from the sample/analytical instrument. Calculated values are the result of some calculation done on the actual data.
Variable Media Type: The media from which the variable was collected/sampled. For example, air, freshwater, ocean.
