Daughters and Dads Active and Empowered is a world-first lifestyle program targeting fathers/father figures as the agents of change to improve their daughters' physical activity levels, sport skills and social-emotional wellbeing. The program also engages girls to improve fitness and physical activity levels, and the parenting skills of their fathers/father figures.
The Daughters and Dads Football Program is funded under the NSW Football Legacy Plan and makes up one of many initiatives of Northern NSW Football and Football NSW to increase representation of women and girls throughout football.
Northern NSW Football and Football NSW are seeking applications for Facilitators to become part of the Daughters and Dads Football Programs in 2023. These roles will report to the Daughters and Dads Program Coordinator.
Successful applicants must attend an online or face-to-face facilitator training, with a duration of 4 hours total.
Suitable candidates will be subject to a recruitment process to ensure that the right culture is built within each hub.
Each Daughters and Dads Hub will have 2 (two) appointed Facilitators who must be available for all 9 (nine) sessions. Each session is made up of a 30-minute education session and 60 minute practical session. All session materials are provided and the facilitator will be paid $100 per session.
Please note: If you are over the age of 18 you will need to hold relevant Employment Working with Children Check; Employment is subject to WWCC clearance.
