All of Us Evenings with Genetics Research Program Workbench Support
The NIH’s All of Us Research Program aims to enroll at least one million participants with an emphasis on underrepresented communities and collect a variety of consented data, including surveys, electronic health records, physical measurements, wearables, genomic data, and biological samples.
The Molecular & Human Genetics Department’s All of Us Evenings with Genetics Research Program at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) has developed a Data Science curriculum to train new All of Us (AoU) Researcher Workbench users. BCM is now expanding to be a source of support to users on the AoU Researcher Workbench. We are recruiting faculty with R, Python, and Jupyter Notebook experience. These faculty will train on the All of Us Evenings with Genetics Research Program’s Data Science curriculum. After this training faculty will provide 2 – 3 hours per week support to other community engagement members to navigate the AoU Researcher Workbench. This project will provide 10% effort to interested staff.
