  • The purpose of this Grant is to support Waitaha centric kaupapa such as;

    • Te Reo wananga/programmes
    • Waiata/Haka Wananga
    • Matauranga/Tikanga Programmes
    • Whaikorero/Kai Karanga wananga

  • What we don't fund

    • Recreational kaupapa or kaupapa where its main focus is recreational
    • Kaupapa where Government Agencies fully fund
    • Kaupapa that does not have an educational component as its key focus
    • Kaupapa where Te Reo or Matauranga Maori is not the key focus
