The purpose of this Grant is to support Waitaha centric kaupapa such as;
- Te Reo wananga/programmes
- Waiata/Haka Wananga
- Matauranga/Tikanga Programmes
- Whaikorero/Kai Karanga wananga
What we don't fund
- Recreational kaupapa or kaupapa where its main focus is recreational
- Kaupapa where Government Agencies fully fund
- Kaupapa that does not have an educational component as its key focus
- Kaupapa where Te Reo or Matauranga Maori is not the key focus
- In retrospect
