  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    West End Well Werks is very passionate about the community we serve. The PRN Athletic Trainer-Certified will be part of a multi-disciplined sports event medicine team providing preventative, mobility & first response care, injury evaluation and treatment on site of athletic events/camps/ and or clinic setting per standing orders and protocol specific to the sports organization hosting the event. There are no clinical requirements. The athletic trainer must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
     

    Requirements


    Education: BS degree required (Master’s preferred)

    License/Certification: Current NATABOC certification and licensure in the state of Georgia

    Current Basic Life Support / CPR Card

    NPI # is preferred

    Professional Liability - Must be active and verifiable every 30 days.

    Strong writing, communication, administrative and organizational skills.

    Two years of athletic training experience is preferred.

    Work Location: Opportunities will vary within the metro Atlanta area.

    All staff will be required to do a background check prior to working any event. Your AT License/Certification will also be verified prior to each event you are contracted for.
