  • Responsibilities

    • I understand I must be a registered and approved member of GSUSA and GSSA for the current year.
    • I will attend training and help the Troop Product Managers in my area with any questions/concerns they may have.
    • I will oversee the delivery of product/rewards to the Troop Product Managers in a timely manner.
    • I will be in close contact with the Troops and offer any assistance if needed.
    • I will disseminate product and/or rewards in a timely manner.
    • I will meet all deadlines as set forth by GSSA to the best of my ability and make sure the troops are meeting their deadlines.
    • I understand all of my responsibilities and will adhere to them to the best of my ability.

     

    Training and Preparation for the job: The Service Unit Product Manager is trained prior to the Fall and/or Cookie Program by a representative of the product company and council staff. Additional assistance is offered at all times by council staff.

    Commitment: One year – may be renewable on a yearly basis. Job-related activities begin several weeks before the actual order-taking period. Activities continue throughout the Fall and/or Cookie Program and are completed when all rewards are delivered to the girls.
