Please complete one application form for each resource you wish to submit. The assessment fee is £1,500 plus VAT (or £750 plus VAT for charities). Quality Mark Criteria

To achieve Quality Mark status a resource must fulfil the Financial Education Quality Mark essential criteria listed below. Full details of each criteria can be found in the Quality Mark ‘Resource Producer's Guide'. Quality Mark assessment is carried out against these criteria and feedback will be issued accordingly. Please read the following statements carefully and tick to confirm that you are happy for your resource to be assessed against each criteria.

Evidence of Essential Criteria*

Has a principle focus (over 50%) on financial education, where financial education refers to the financial knowledge, skills and attitudes listed in the financial education planning frameworks.Includes opportunities for structured learning through the inclusion of clear and specific learning objectives and learning activities that will help young people achieve the identified learning objectives.Is engaging and relevant for young people in content and design.Is clearly written and easy to use, with language and terminology that is appropriate for the reader and clear instructions for use.Contains accurate, up-to-date financial information and curriculum information (if relevant), and is free of branding.Has been developed in consultation with a teacher or educationalist and tested with young people in the target group.

Bursary Information

The Quality Mark is a not-for-profit service, but in order to be financially sustainable incurs a fee of £1,500 (or £750 for charitable organisations). Each year we award a small number of bursaries to not-for-profit organisations to enable them to use the Quality Mark service for free. If you would like to apply for this bursary, please complete the below form as fully as possible. Applications will be assessed based on the four criteria stated below.
Bursary Essential Criteria*

The free consultancy stage is complete. We will conduct an initial review of the resource to ensure the essential criteria is met.The resource fills a gap. It addresses a subject which is not already widely covered by other resources or otherwise has an innovate approach to teaching such subjects.There is long-term sustainability. There exists a vision and a commitment beyond the two-year Quality Mark validity period, and a commitment to ongoing evaluation.There is a need for financial support. The Quality Mark fee is a significant financial barrier to accreditation.
