Chamber Ambassador Application
As a Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, you are a front-line representative for the Chamber and Chamber Sponsored events/activities. You will assist with increasing the retention rate of existing members by conducting an on-going program of goodwill calls and networking opportunities with our members, reinforcing the benefits of making an investment in the Chamber, increasing the member’s knowledge of our organization, soliciting members’ input on Chamber programs, and opening more channels of communication between Chamber leadership and members. As an ambassador, your dedication, time, and efforts are appreciated and highly values by the Board of Directors, Chamber Staff and Membership during your one-year term. You ARE the backbone of the Murray-Calloway County County Chamber.

Ambassador Benefits
The benefits that a Chamber Ambassador receives are limitless. Many benefits cannot be measured with a dollar amount, rather the increased visibility of our ambassadors can have a direct financial impact on their businesses. Benefits include: building strong relationships with other Chamber members, increasing visibility by being recognized on the Chamber website, social media platforms and during events, attend and lead ribbon cutting celebrations, gain contacts and leads with new businesses in town, and many more.
Ambassador Pre-Requisites
Before becoming a Chamber Ambassador, you or the business you represent, must have been an active Chamber member for a minimum of one full year prior to applying. Individuals who have attended Chamber events, participated in Chamber programs and express knowledge and understanding of Chamber benefits will be considered for an ambassador position.

I understand that the Chamber Ambassadors act as a public relations arm of the Chamber of Commerce. I understand that I may be asked to step down from the ambassador team if I am not able to uphold my commitment or become inactive in the Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce.
