Art Show & Awards: Kendall Pond Fireworks Celebration

You may register at any time, but make sure you register before May 28th, 2023. Once you register, we will mail you the map of all the private locations, boat docks and clubs that you are allowed to have access to throughout the year with a name tag. Any questions, email debgiordano59@comcast.net

Cash Prizes and Ribbons

1st Place $300 plus 1/2 of the Raffle

2nd Place $200 1st Honorable $50

3rd Place $150 2nd Honorable $50

The judges will be president from the KPBA, various club officials on the lake and the GALA president.

You may enter up to two pieces of art work. All mediums, 3D and photography is accepted.

Only the First place art piece will be Donated and Raffled off during the Kendall Pond Firework celebration in June of 2023. The Art Show will also take place during this celebration which funds the treatment of the pond. All art pieces will be for Sale on that day, Saturday, June 17th, 2023.

If a pond resident has expressed an interest in working with you to purchase your art piece prior to the art show, you must contact Deb and work out an arrangement.

This Combo event is a Fundraiser to help the Kendall Pond Betterment Association in keeping the gardner pond a natural resource for future generations.

There will be access to use a facility which will be on the map. We will give you a tag to keep with you at all times to show that you are participating in this event.

All Artwork must be for sale. No larger than 28" in any direction.

Please bring your one page 8x11 artist statement to the drop-off. Your statement will be placed in a binder for viewing by visitors at the show. You are also welcome to bring business cards to be displayed at the show.

If you have not made pickup arrangements prior to the Pick up time, you will be charged a Late pickup Fee of $5 per day. After 30 days artwork becomes property of GALA. (any item submitted is considered artwork)

By submitting to this exhibit, you give permission to the Gardner Area League of Artists (GALA) to use images of your work on our websites and in promotional advertisements. Please contact us with any questions.

Liability: GALA does not assume responsibility for any work on exhibit or in transit. Every effort is made to maintain a safe and secure show. The applicant agrees that the Gardner Area League of Artists (GALA) and/or its Board of Directors and/or Committees and/or the KPBA, PACC are not responsible for the theft of, or damage to any works prior to, during or after the exhibit. The applicant further agrees to leave all entries until the end of the show.

Be sure to print a copy of your form before you submit to retain for your reference since you will not be able to return to the form once it is submitted. Please preview your print & adjust the % size to ensure you will not "cut off" any part of the form before printing (generally, reducing the size down to 80% will work).
