• Rapid IPO Programme

    Join our challenge as we take an Idea, build an investable Company

    and

    prepare the company for listing on a Stock Exchange

    ~~~~~~~~~
    Summary
    This is an experiential (real-time participative) case study to experience the journey from Startup to Scale-up to IPO. The case study aims to establish and prepare for listing on a Stock Exchange, a pan-African company with branches in several African countries.
    What we aim to achieve
    This programme provides participants an opportunity for learning how to:
    Raise capital on own terms without excessive dilution of shares; learn how to work on the business and not in it; Safeguard and protect business and investors' interests against risks and undue claimants; Create a business financial roadmap and plan personal business exit strategy; and Benefit from capital gains and grow personal wealth.
    Who should participate
    Founders, business owners, CEOs, company directors and investors
    who wants to follow, experience or participate in:
    1. Innovative ways to create a high value Pan-African company
    2. Apply innovative Joint Venture and M&A techniques
    3. Develop and apply capital raising strategies
    4. Preparation for a Stock Exchange listing
    5. Corporatisation of a small business
    6. Participate in company Share Option Plan
    7. Build personal relationships with fellow CEOs,
    Company directors, founders and investors
    Why do this
    Many CEOs and their management teams are not experienced in corporate affairs.
    We identified the need for a practical, experiential case study where they can share in the challenges, deliberations, strategies, methods, practices and phases of growing a business to maturity/IPO.
    Being a learning programme, there's a need to do this in a short time frame. It is possible to go from idea to IPO within 18 - 24 months or less, as has been done in the UK.
    We are therefore challenged to take an idea, build a company and prepere it for listing on a South African Exchange within a short time frame.
    How we will succeed
    The programme applies the Miracles of Capital (MOC) methodology developed by Dr Jeh Shyan Wong, which is well established across the ASEAN countries. The CEO Business Club now makes this knowledge available to African business people who have the aspiration to rapidly grow their companies exponentially.
    To start, we agree and validate the idea, next we establish the company along with governance measures. We then validate the business model and strategy, establish traction, build infrastructure and scale the company before final preparation for listing.
