Deposit: A deposit will be required below in order to finalize your booking. You will enter the amount from the bottom of your Custom Cake Notes form. This deposit will be applied toward the total amount due. In the event of cancellation for this date, this deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. If for any reason you need to reschedule your date, please contact us to discuss our availability for the new date. A new deposit will be required to reserve a new date.

Final Payment: We will confirm your final details with you 2-3 weeks prior to your wedding/delivery date, then, based on those final details, an invoice will be sent to you via email with your final balance due. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding/delivery date. The cake will not be created if final payment has not been received. There will be a $50.00 late fee charged for any payments made after the 2-week deadline. Any additional payments made toward the balance prior to the 2-week deadline are non-refundable.

Delivery Minimum: Our minimum order to be eligible for delivery is $850. If at any time, changes are made to the order that make the cake/sweets total drop below $850, Sugar Bee Sweets reserves the right to remove the option for delivery.

Delivery Provisions: We charge $75 for deliveries within the City of Arlington, $125 to locations within 25 miles, $150 within 40 miles, and $175 within 60 miles. Delivery outside the 60-mile radius is available at the following rate: $0.56/mile to and from site and $35.00/hour (includes driving and setup time). **Out of town delivery and hourly rate doubles during holiday weekends. **Sunday, Monday, and Holiday deliveries are an additional $100 and may increase based on mileage. Time: Deliveries before 9 am or after 6:30 pm on any day are subject to an additional $50 charge. We will coordinate the time with you and schedule to meet you/your designated wedding day contact on the day of your event to set up your cake/order (generally, deliveries are made 1.5-2 hours prior to your event start time). Cakes required to be delivered during room flips are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Delivery Disaster Clause: In the case of a disaster involving circumstances beyond our control, we will issue a 50% refund. You will still receive a display cake for your wedding reception and cake to be served to your guests. Sugar Bee Sweets claims no liability for cake damage due to weather conditions (i.e. outdoor weddings) or sunlight at the venue (i.e. venues with windows near the cake table).

Pickup Provisions: If someone will be picking up your order, they will need a large, flat floorboard for the cake to ride in. Once they leave the shop, the cake(s) are no longer the responsibility of Sugar Bee Sweets. Cake(s) must be refrigerated until start of wedding.

Setup Details: If setup instructions are not provided to us, we will do what we feel looks best with what is provided to us at the table. If you provide your own stands, SBS reserves the right to not use stands that are deemed unstable or unsuitable for supporting a cake at the time of delivery. In the event that this happens, SBS will inform the day of contact of the issue with the stand.

Color Clause: Specific color shades/hues cannot be guaranteed unless a physical swatch (paint, fabric, etc.) is provided. Digital swatches or images may render differently on various devices or printers and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Fresh Floral Clause: Anything that needs to be added to your cake will need to be provided by you or your florist at the reception venue/delivery site at the time of cake delivery. Floral placement is based on direction provided from the client during design appointment and the floral that is provided for us.

Cancellation Policy: Orders must be canceled 2 weeks prior to the event date. Any payments beyond the non-refundable deposit will be given as store credit. Cake orders canceled after the 2-week cutoff date will not be refunded nor credited. In the event that something has occurred to affect your scheduled wedding/event date, please contact us to discuss rescheduling options.

Force Majeure Policy: We shall not be deemed in breach of this agreement if we are unable to complete the services or any portion thereof by reason of fire, earthquake, labor dispute, act of God or public enemy, death, illness or incapacity or any local, state, federal, national or international law, governmental order or regulation or any other event beyond our control (collectively, “Force Majeure Event”). Upon occurrence of any Force Majeure Event, we shall give notice to you of our inability to perform or of delay in completing services and shall propose revisions to the schedule for completion of services.

Photo Policy: On occasion, Sugar Bee Sweets will take photographs of its cakes or may order copies of pictures from your photographer. We reserve the right to use any photographs for our own reference or for display and/or promotion without compensation to you.

Signature: I have read and understand all that has been proposed. I have agreed to submit this contract by electronic means. By signing this contract electronically, I certify under penalty of perjury that my answers are correct and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that an electronic signature has the same legal effect and can be enforced in the same way as a written signature.
