TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DESIGN PROCESS & DEPOSIT

The custom design process includes an initial consultation (via phone or meeting) where the client provides the information needed about the piece they wish to custom make followed by 1-2 rounds of design ideas, a preliminary sketch and stone selections. At the end of this phase and once the design is approved, a 50% non- refundable downpayment, based on the estimate provided for the final piece of jewelry, is required. With this payment, the client will get a viewing of the final CAD drawing and agrees to let production begin. Any additional rounds of designs can be carried out at an additional cost. The remaining 50% balance will be charged upon completion of the piece. Jewelry will be shipped after receiving the final balance.

All custom designs / sketches shared by the designer will remain in the intellectual property of Donna Hourani Jewelry and may not be reproduced by you or anyone else for any reason.

TIMELINE

The expected time period of the design phase is 1-5 days from the time the client is contacted by the designer. The time period expected from Donna Hourani Jewelry for the piece to be ready is 7 - 14 working days from the time of deposit. In some cases such as holiday seasons or too many orders running at the workshop, it can go up to 3 weeks.

RETURNS

Custom-designed pieces are non-returnable, non-refundable and no changes can be made after completion of the piece.

REPAIRS

At the discretion of Donna Hourani Jewelry, a custom piece will be repaired or replaced if any manufacturer defects are found in the first 6 months from the date of the purchase. Normal wear and tear and customer abuse is not covered by the company.

RESIZING

It is the customer's responsibility to provide an accurate ring size prior to production. Pieces will be resized on a case-by-case basis, and come with a flat resizing fee of 200AED. Pieces such as eternity bands, intricate settings, or pieces featuring certain gemstones cannot be resized. Please allow 7 - 10 days for resizing.
