Sitter Responsibility

As the sitter for the Ketamine treatment you will be responsible for the patient while they are in their session and after. The duties of the sitter are to make sure the patient remains safe during treatment, offer reassurance if the patient needs it, help the patient to the restroom, make sure the patient has their headphones, eye shades, and make sure that they are comfortable during the treatment. The goal is to be available for the patient during the session and after. The patient is not able to drive, make major decisions, or sign any contracts for the rest of the day. The patient may wake up wanting to talk about the experience. Your goal is to listen and be a shoulder to cry on if needed. Encourage them to eat a healthy meal after and to journal their experience.  The sitter has the reward of seeing the patient progress after sessions.  In the event of an emergency, please call 911.
