This Trainee Profile Form is used by Swim Ireland and the Leisure, Health & Fitness Skillnet to collect information relating to participants on training programmes partially or fully funded by Skillnet Ireland from the National Training Fund through the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.

Skillnet Ireland is mandated by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science to monitor and evaluate training programmes and to ensure that funds are being used appropriately.

Swim Ireland, the Leisure Health & Fitness Skillnet and Skillnet Ireland will comply with all applicable Data Protection Legislation in the processing of the information and personal data provided by you in this form.

Completion of this form is not a guarantee of funding. Your application will be reviewed and approved by Skillnet and Swim Ireland. Queries may be directed to info@lhfskillnet.ie or education@swimireland.ie

The following needs to be completed in advance of receiving approval:
- Create a member profile and Swim Ireland ID on Swim Ireland database (video tutorial)
- Apply for Vetting NVB through Swim Ireland
- Completing Swim Ireland Safeguarding Level 1
