Closing date for initial allocations is midday on Monday 21st November 2022.
Following allocation of the first batch of requested dates, any unclaimed weeks will be advertised on the club website www.hpls.org
This form is used for HPLS members to request a reservation at the HPLS holiday homes at Swanage Coastal Park holiday homes for dates March to December 2022. This form contains all the conditions relating to booking, payment, refund policy, behaviour on site, cleaning by members and pets.
We have two homes so please be specific as to which home you are applying for. Application for booking can only be made for one specific week and one specific home only during the initial annual balloting process.
If you were alloated a school holiday week last year please do not ask this year.
In addition to peak school holiday weeks, a ballot will be held for weeks where duplicate requests are made. Please note that on grounds of fairness we reserve the right to allocate a week to a member that has not yet used a home over someone who previously has. Other weeks will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Once the allocations are made you will be notified by email of any successful booking or otherwise. Weeks run from Saturday to Saturday the dates of which are shown on website or would have been emailed to you following an enquiry.
The choice of homes are 1. 'Carnaby' (28' 2 bedroom, 4 berth, no pets) or 2. 'Moonstone' (35' 2 beds, 4/5 berth, pet friendly) No adult groups - Only suitable for family use.
PAYMENT - We have had to change the process for booking and payment this year with the full balance being paid within 21 days of a booking being confirmed which is non-refundable, plus an £80 cleaning and security deposit which IS refundable once you have vacated the property in good clean and complete order. In view of this please only request a week where you are sure that you are free to use it. Home / travel insurance should cover you for having to cancel for health and other unavoidable reasons - please check your policy.
Following submission you should receive an email acknowledgement. If you cannot see it please search your spam folders. Provided you have this, we would have received your form, so please do not send chase up emails to make sure we have it. No payment is due until a booking is confirmed by us.
