To pick up your firearm(s) during the pickup, our staff will require that you follow all rules regarding a regular Over-The-Counter firearm transaction. This will require you to complete a BATFE Form 4473 and present to us a valid government issued photo ID (driver's license is OK). The information on your ID must match exactly the information on your ProxiBid invoice (your invoice information is based on the information you provided when you registered).
If you hold a valid WV Concealed Carry permit issued on or after June 4, 2014, you will not be required to complete a NICS check but you will still have to complete Form 4473 and your ID and your invoice information must match.
If you're a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL) and wish to pick up your firearm(s) we will only do so if you provide a photo ID and your name appears on the license.
Out of state residents can receive long guns through this process (with some limitations) but no handguns. As a licensed FFL, we can only transfer firearms to private citizens who are residents of WV. If you are out of state and are not an FFL/C&R FFL holder, we cannot transfer the firearm directly to you.
If you have any questions about this process, please email or call before planning to come to a pick up. We don't want to disappoint anyone and it's far easier to ask a simple question before driving a long distance and finding out you cannot get your firearm(s).
